There are around 400,000 listed buildings within the UK, the majority of which are grade 2 classification, mostly consisting of peoples homes and buildings owned by the general public. Inline with the UK Listed Building Legislation, such properties must be kept in satisfactory condition and will often require repairs or restoration works to do so.

Historical Building Restoration
We have restored and conserved numerous historic buildings over the last 20 years, recently having been commissioned to refurbish and repair the masonry of Newcastle University’s Armstrong building, which is one of the regions most prized Grade 2 Listed historic buildings.
RGPRS have the knowledge and specialist skills required to successfully organise and complete historic building restoration projects from start to finish. Not only do we have the skillset required to restore the property, we also pay great attention to site safety as often there can be people on site when the works are being carried out.

Church Restoration
RGPRS have experience repairing, restoring and conserving historical stone churches, specialising in restoring stonework and repairing exterior damage. All of our works are inline with UK Listed Building Legislation.
When working on church restoration projects it is very important to use the correct construction and safety methods to ensure that the site, building and structure do not incur further damages when the works are in progress. It is also very important to maintain site safety as there are can often be church staff and members of the public on site when the works are being carried out.
We use conservation and heritage approved materials with recommended restoration techniques when fulfilling church restoration projects.
